Interesting article, thank you for posting it as well. It does show me one thing though, Texas basically has no value in a signed contract. It would be like you signing a contract to purchase a home, begin the financing portion of the contract, then find that someone came along, offered more money than you and the seller decided to void your contract and accept the other offer. I know it's slightly exaggerated, but a signed contract in this day and age is supposed to be binding. Maybe contracts in Texas should have a 3 or 5 day right of recision. That might resolve the issue.
