a few days ago i posted a tweet on stock twits referring to OCZ Jess' twitpic of a calendar events which can be seen here:
my first thought was BO may not occur for some time given that they appear to be booked with events for the rest of the year and are not making any changes...
any thoughts on this? I know Theo mentioned OCZ would still exist under STX, which may justify why OCZ is still on schedule for these events.
Indeed, currently Western Digital.
I searched for a PCWorld link since someone said he was not current at Seagate (which he isn't).
But the email appears to still be from PCWorld which has a David White in Marketing.
You guys are looking on the wrong things.
If you look on the screen it's the email from someone outside of OCZ to Jessica and her boss Alex Mei.
And CC: David White
Who is David White ? I did Google search and there is no David White at OCZ.
But when I searched David White at Seagate - there is at least one Sr. Director there.
That was definitely email about delaying the buyout PR. The email is dated August 9th. If you scroll down email you see the new PR date is August 24th.
I don't think this tells us anything for or against because these are just trade shows, and the lower level employees in marketing/sales wouldn't be part of buyout chats. Business as usual. Plus deals fail, could take a long time to close, etc.
