Still, we get this from Professor Rush: "Nature cleaned itself up so damned fast it was sure a laughable thing to watch, people with dish towels and dishwashing detergent wiping oil off of the rocks at Prince William Sound...."
And he doesn’t stop there. He wants to know why today everyone is pointing the finger at BP, Halliburton and Transocean (the world’s largest offshore drilling company), blaming them for the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, when clearly the Sierra Club is responsible for the disaster.
Who is the Sierra Club?
The Club is America's oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization. Inspired by nature, we are 1.3 million of your friends and neighbors, working together to protect our communities and the planet.
this oil slick has happened on obamas watch with a democratic senate and house... why? why didnt they protect america from this disaster.. the buck stops at the white house not with bp the president should take the blame instead of blaming bp...the president is allowing this disaster to continue that way he can save face and pass the buck on to bp..simply put he stands by while oil contaminates the gulf because of politics..
Obama should he taken steps after being elected to reverse the relaxing of important health and safety regulations by Bush. He shares the blame in part. Nothing like BP first and W/Cheney. But some indeed.
Wrong. BUSH created such a disaster across the constitutional and political spectrum that Obama has had more things to try and correct for the benefit of all AMERICANS than ANY president has EVER had to deal with. Sorry, Obama isn't responsible for BUSH's "dumbing down" of Americans like you. And believe me - you're pretty dumb.
What does sarah palin have do with Rig or BP! The answer is Nothing!
Its Not Palins problem. You Leftwingers Are Idiots and morons. I dont see you Blaming Hugo Chavez for drilling for oil.
Palin Does not work for any oil company. palin does not work for the government. so what is your problem! why do you blame Palin, she has no control over bp.
This is a HUMAN disaster caused by corporate politics. Pass the buck. If it costs more to be safer, we would rather keep the cost down and not think about the future, and one of the biggest causes: not thinking of what could happen and have a solution before you drill and/or operate a well. The sad thing is that everyone will not learn from this. Everyone is pointing blame at each other and even investors and other individuals are blaming the political parties. Political parties are run by people. So are companies. Maybe people should join together, quit the blame game and LEARN from their mistakes. Someone may have a solution, but companies are also very academically influenced and this solution may need someone without a degree. We have to think out of the box to find a solution that will work well for all--especially the people of the Gulf Coast.
I agree with you Marylynn, however when one party consistently demonstrates and admits (see Rand Paul) that its racial bias, class status, religious beliefs are all superior to the actual majority, while continuing the Glenn Beck radicalism - you're saying all thats ok and not worth standing up to??
Believe me, I know its about people and I care.
Companies are politically influenced first and foremost - mark it.
