"My AG Edwards broker wanted to sell the 400 shares of BP that dad left me. What an idiot ! Thanks to the many positive posters on this great forum"
I should have listened to my Ag Edwards broker who advised me again to sell
on Thursday after the stock moved up around $45. My problem was the love sentiment and our family has owned BP since the Sohio Standard Oil days
along time ago.
Right now I would gladly take $40 a share and the $16,000 that most likely
will not be there on Tuesday morning.I hope to buy some Puts if it's not too late. I'm loosing sleep over this investment like no other stock I have ever owned .
You're welcome. We've been called morons, bad American's, heartless capitalists by the arrogant short eco-intellectuals who have promised & swore BP is a "dead carcass," etc. I'm grateful they had the right to their opinions, we to ours, and all could make up their own minds (be they large or small).
