Added more at 14.01. All their land for 2013 has already been bought (at bargain prices). Now they are adding to 2013 (recent Converse purchase) and filling out their book for 2014. Housing starts will reach 1ML annualized by January.
I hope KB goes down to $9 like you say. Even $12 would be great. I'll be buying more - each month, month after month - every step of the way. KB is the ONLY builder who has not diluted their stock; in fact, they have reduced the float byy 30% and it will make the effect of profitability more pronounced when it hits big this December, and then again in March. The December CC will be KB's debutante ball. I hope you're not short. KB is going to have one of those +20%-in-a-day days soon. $20 is my target by March 1.
Didn't realize how much other builders had been issuing shares. KB is the only one not to. Just read the full HPI report issued by CoreLogic. One word. WOW!! Price increases excluding distressed properties in those areas we sell homes are busting. Went all in yesterday in two buys. Average price of $14.06. I really believe that after this cliff issue is resolved we move higher in quick order. The hope is the Obama Administration then works on some type of resolve on the overly tight credit standards. They want housing to accelerate. I think everyone now realizes no real recovery will happen without it. Can't wait for the earnings report. KB should have quite the bump in operating cash. Like you said all land is set for 2013. Course if opportunity arises they will buy. The deal they just did mirrors what was said in the last C.C. Have a Great weekend!! P.S. I like how u think! I bought a big chunck at $14.03. Have had a buy order in all week at that price. May finish filling the rest of the shares I intended on buying back yet today. 25-30% off the highs seems to be about right. G.L.
