how is POS still in the teens!

The whole market falls more than 2% and this MF dops half a percent? Seriously, Internet retailers are eating this companies lunch and Ameruica is in a DEPRESSION. No hiring, no jobs, no demand. How is this company still $15/share? Worth less than $10.

    • Staples is an internet business...they're the 2nd highest grossing internet retailer in the country.

Amazon is #1 @ $24B, Staples is #2 at $10B. The next closest are Dell and Apple around $4B.

Just because the retail side is a bit underperforming doesn't mean their internet/delivery business is.

      • How are they still in the teens instead of single digits? Easy, just keep cutting operating expenses, lower manpower in the stores, give cheesy health insurance, make order minimums higher for free delivery ( now $75 ). If don't want to pay charge, force customers to have to come to store to pick up merchandise. Staple's management needs to realize that in order to make money, you have to spend it especially on it's employees and not on the pockets of the upper management who are seriously overpaid via salary and bonuses and letting the company spiral down by hiring flunkies from Walmart and making stupid decisions.
