Earnings estimates are 40 cents for Q4 (January 2012), $1.37 for the year, and $1.50 for 2013. Selling at about 10X earnings today based on current earnings estimates. Remember, SPLS has sold for 20X earnings or more in 11 of the past 12 years. If history repeats, we will be looking at a $30 stock price by the end of the year. Even with 15X earnings, we are looking at $22.50. With an improving economy in the U. S. and Europe,(not counting Greece, which wouldn't matter even if it was healthy), together with marginal competition, I like the odds of SPLS going much higher in the next 11 months. Earnings on the 29th should give some idea on whether they expect to meet the analysts' numbers.
