All would like a factual answer to your question. It's only availble to Dr. Spock. If past history is repeated, the future of UMPQ is promising and buying on dips, over time, may produce reasonable returns. If your holding period is five years, or more, the opportunity to overcome UMPQ's current fully priced situation is greatly enhanced. UMPQ's present task is one they have never before faced on such a large scale (for them.) It's consolidating recent acquisitions to produce very acceptable service and superior earnings per share for equity owners. Some pain will be involved and hopefully, nice EPS as well. Best wishes for profitable decisions!
