I would like to point that neither Dacogen or Vidaza, made it to ph 2 in solid tumors. They both have been around for near 20 years. SGI-110 is well on the way of getting a ph2 in solid tumors underway shortly. That does show confidence in this drug.
I have seem numerous commercials lately for Stand Up To Cancer, since they have a relationship with our drug, if SGI-110 does benefit patients, the news will spread fast. This organization will want to showcase their support of this drug. You need a winner, to help those contributions.
No, I actually do not follow Vidaza at all anymore. I guess I got lazy. I pay attention to when someone compares the vid and dac.
I actually more interested in comparing sgi-110 to Dacogen and maybe will one day look at sgi-110 to Vidaza side effects. Earlier in the year I broke it down on side effects. It is very time consumming to do this and post what I find and not one soul discusses it. I even pointed out the big differences.
I just remember years ago, looking what vidaza puts you through and the side effects are worse in my opinion. Neither Dac or vid are fun to take, I believe if sgi-110 equals results, that side effects will be the reason it's preferred. I will look up my first post tomorrow and see if we want to revisit. I should know better by know, that it is in vain.
I was getting lazy.
Did you ever track Dacogen and Vidaza sales figures by quarter. Was going to undertake that project unless you have something handy already?
Don't call me lazy Max
That is one of the drugs we get a update. I will look for the final one.
Should be a good finish to the year. However there is limited speculation in this market. Next year capital gains has less of a impact, so no reason to hold a year. This becomes traders market now. Just have to be better at it, than the bobsey twins.
Press release said that dosing for PH2 in solid tumors would start by end of 2012. Are you seeing enrollment already?
The readout for SGI-110 before end of 2012 is for AML and MDS in Phase 2 correct? Think that is one of the 4 PH2 Astex management keeps talking about.
No they haven't even notified the FDA about the trial as of yet. I check every so often and as soon as I see it, will post link. My guess they go after Breast cancer? We'll have to see.
Results on SGI-110,amuvatinib and two of astx drugs, results to be presented at ash on clinical results.
