It was nice yesterday to share this info. Keeping my fingers crossed that we see a PVA difference materialize. I believe the environment foot print that large companies can look to with PVA, is a major marketing benefit. It's all about green and it don't get any greener than biodegradeable plastic.
Found the article. Bioplastics growing but are no pancea. Growth from 1m to 6m by 2016. They discuss how companies are trying to lower their environment foot print. Bioplastic may run the same problems, where growers opt to grow for plastic, more than as a food source. Interesting, we see this with biogas. They talk about recycling the bioplastic, but our PVA is biodegradeable.
