    Color vs. black-and-white

I am curious about the new Pinpoint capability to present a full color image (as opposed to black-and-white) while doing fluorescence. How valuable is this to surgeons? I would guess that having the the ability to see the image in full color, while not absolutely necessary, could ease recognition of anatomical landmarks. It might preclude the necessity of flipping back an forth between images for orientation. Any comments from actual users of the current Pinpoint or Firefly?

Good question Buzzybob. Very good question! This might be what Arun was alluding to when he talked about the replacement of endoscopes with the one that has all the features of the existing scopes with the addition of the NVDQ fluorescent technology.
