Looking forward to increased world wide sales, revenue will take off in 2014. I wouldn't expect mdxg to be a stand alone company after 2015. Too bad for all these shorts, that keep increasing every cycle. The news will come swiftly.
I would love to see a bidding war between Medtronic and Smith & Nephew for MDXG. Rumor is that Medtronic may acquire Wright medical, improving their position in general Ortho / foot ankle for a MDXG.
Smith & Nephew (the original sellers of Dermagraft) may need to divest Oasis from the Healthpointe acquisition. Will see how this plays out over the next 1-2 years.
I would say there would. Be zero chance Medtronic would have announced a deal with mdxg if they were worried about the FDA , as a matter of fact I am amazed they announced the deal. With this FDA cloud hanging over mdxg, with the legion of lawyers on staff at Medtronics this has to be the largest positive for mdxg , we should get 2015 forecasts soon which should be 200 million plus
MDT has paid out several hundreds of millions over the last several years in product settelments. MDXG's issue with the FDA is small potatoes. MDT will be a great customer and has world class distribution abilities.
