Yes boy, consuming more calories in then out over many years and the make up of those calories produces high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Yes boy, all those drugs that treat specifically the co-morbidities of obesity don't address the root cause which is too many calories in relative to calories out (and the composition of calories, carbs, protein and fat) . Yes boy, if a patient reduces weight and balances calories over a period of time many of the co-morbidities of obesity go away.
