From a stock performance perspective, perhaps the most important point to come out of the CC was that in response to a question about the effect of the slightly lower revenue projections, John Boruch stated that AMKR was comfortable with the street consensus estimates of Y2000 and Y2001 EPS. This means that AMKR is now selling at 17x Y2000 EPS and 11x Y2001. For a company projecting growth in EPS of 100%+ in 2000 and 50%+ in 2001, this is absurdly cheap.
Amkor will be growing revenue by over 500 million nest year and these guys are getting all shookup over missing 30 million from the the aggregate. Isnt 20% revenue growth not good enough for a $27 stock. Just pisses me off how these guys are full of shit
