Trulia files response to Zillow patent lawsuit - abstract ideas and principles are not patentable

I hope this case comes to court as I would love to hear Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff try and justify his nonsense zestimates under cross examination from Trulias attorneys. Trulia have a good defense with the approach that something as abstract as a zestimate is not patentable

"“Methods which can be performed entirely in the human mind are unpatentable not because there is anything wrong with claiming mental steps as part of a process containing non-mental steps but rather because computational methods which can be performed entirely in the human mind are the types of methods that embody the ‘basic tools of scientific and technological work’ that are free to all men and reserved exclusively to none.’”

The fact that Zillow filed the lawsuit as a spoiler to Trulias IPO demonstrates once again Zillows bullying style that they use to trample over homeowners by imposing unwanted and inaccurate zestimates and refusing all reasonable requests to correct or delete.
