Gastar will likely prevail, but courts seldom award legal fees. That would be a "loser pays" scenario, which is anathema to most lawyers because it would tend to discourage frivolous or malicious law-suits - and in so doing, reduce the income of those in the profession.
Near term it should be interesting with a cold snap throughout the U.S. and its effects on nat. gas prices, the amount of daylight per day continues to shrink and construction is rebounding with new nat. gas consumption houses being built, also several natural gas fueled power plants are online so these are decent catalysts.
Are you serious ? This management sucks ! You're telling me that this is frivilious but so what GST can't afford it ! This is one of the worst run energy companies going and it always gets worse instead of better.
Cashewking, maybe you are what you eat and that is NUTS! What do you base your unsupportable assertions that there is a management problem at Gastar? The chief reason Gastar and other Exploration companies are down is because they are out of favor. Just wait until Europe gets its situation resolved and the U.S. begins to export natural gas to China and Japan and Gastar is well positioned to have its stock take off, possibly to as high as $10 per share within five years. That is a nice 8X the current price.
