Are there phthalates in Starbuck's cinnamon

After reading a news article stating that some in cinnamons contain phthalates, I wrote a letter to Starbucks customer service asking them if they could assure me that there are no phthalates in the cinnamon that is used in Starbusks stores. This is the answer I received:

    "Greetings Craig!
Thank you for contacting starbucks regarding information on phthalates.
While we understand that some customers may have a need to know specific ingredient information prior to
consuming a product, we are unable to provide more in-depth information than what is currently available in the ingredient statement. Spice and flavor information is proprietary to our formulations, and the ingredient statement meets FDA guidelines for disclosing major allergens. If there are concerns about this product possibly containing or having been exposed to an ingredient that you do not wish to consume, we would recommend that product not be consumed.
Thanks again for writing us. If you ever have any questions or concerns in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
We would love to hear your feedback. Click here to take a short survey.

Sounds like they are telling me not to drink Starbucks coffee.
