It's possible that V20-2 won't meet expectations. However, the company has a much higher "hit rate" than the industry. They are not a wildcat operation. They have seen something in the logs that tells them (people with 20+ years in the business), that they have something big.
Again, it's possible that it will be a disappointment. I will admit that there PR is not on a level I would like; however, nobody was complaining about their last PR. Generally, the management sets low to modest expectations - then beats them.
I could be wrong, but even if they know something, they have been very tightlipped. Also, even if they hit something a week ago, they could have decided to get a completion rig up and running before they announce. Ofcourse, this is all speculation, but it would be consistent with past PRs. We will know soon.
Mike I would say you are very, very clairvoyant. My guess is they will be moving the completion rig from 10 mile well to the 20-2 well if the logs look good. I have bet big bucks that we hit it. Lets hope that I am right on. Good investing to you. Have a great weekend.
only thing i have to say about utah is if it so great why is a big dog like questar not drilling there in 2009? i think royl would be better off if they would be hedged for 2009 because its going to be a rough year probably to say the least. the rockies gas is dirt cheap. utah is expensive to develop although it could be great down the line. questar is trying to get a pipeline from utah extended to chicago by 2012.
Looks like nobodys giving you the attention you need. Time too move on to the next board, and pretend to know what you're talking about. You only have 4 hours left before mommy and daddy come home and make you get off the computer.
