The point is that BDX has plummeted nearly 50% off its high for the year and that such a huge slide made it necessary for them to pay for the Clotech acquisition in cash, rather than stock. Management's promise of steady double-digit growth for many years to come has not and will not materialize. Clateo led us down the wrong path.
The point is that Moody's potential downgrade = BAD NEWS and we've already had enough of that. Every day the stock slides further and further... The decline in market value of my 5-year investment in BDX has been dramatic.
I'm looking forward to hear from the company's upper management regarding what they're doing to bolster the stock price, but so far not a word.
I'd like to know when and if Clateo is leaving his post. I understand he's retiring soon. Does anyone have an answer to this question? I believe I posted it once before but I got no answers. I can't wait for someone else to assume control of the company. We need new planning and new directions to get the company back on track. And as for a takeover of BDX... I can't wait.
