I don't think he has gone mad. He is either lying about having shorted it at all or he is just putting on a brave face about having lost his bet so fast. As far as his DD, i guess he only has a rear view mirror and didn't consider the possibility that the company may announce a big deal. That's what i tried warning him about this morning having listened to Potashner on a couple of occasions. It will be interesting to see if they actually announce something significant that explains this move. Maybe that will be the time to sell or short. Being short is a tough game to play because even if you are right about the fundamentals, your timing has to be right too. Too tough for me. And as i also said, this is a low float stock with a hefty short interest. Guessing when the ride will end is a dangerous thing. But i wish trading expert luck anyway and hope he gets to short those elusive shares at even higher prices.
