VOLC Set to Erupt - PROSPECT Study HUGE NEWS!!!

This stock is under loved and under followed by Wall Street, despite very good financial performance since coming public. But, the PROSPECT study with Abbott Labs, will change the standard of care for cardiologists, medical groups and hospitals around the country. Once this news makes the rounds in the medical community, angiograms will not be enough to provide the highest standard of care. And, given the huge expense of hospitalization with cardiac patients, the medical community, and invasive cardiologists in particular, will HAVE to utilize advanced ultrasound technology. VOLC has ISRG potential...right here, right now. LOAD UP! Significant move coming...Barrington has a $21 target...that's nothing compared to where VOLC is going. We are talking $50-100 per share.

that's some kind of joke, right? this company cannot control its costs and has never had a profitable year

why come on the board and post this pumping nonsense about "$50-100 per share"?

    • No way in hell. This has been an underperformer from day one. Its a broken dream. Not a basher, but an owner. Its just not likely to move and your post creates false hope.

That being said, I hope your right.

      • I know you are discouraged, as I am. I'm not a pumper or a promoter. I've just discussed the results with several leading invasive cardiologists in the New Jersey and New York, who have been awaiting these results. The overwhelming consensus was that this will alter the standard of care. I think the fact that the study was done in conjunction with Abbott Labs...added significant credibility as well as a potential partner. VOLC has had very strong financial results, but look at what they are spending in sales and marketing...A LOT. If they can leverage a firm like ABBOTT, with a worldwide salesforce, shipments for IVUS can rise significantly and perhaps exponentially. The medical community takes time to change, but it will change.

Also, at $16.70, VOLC has almost $3.00 per share in cash, and 11% of the float is short. VOLC remains relatively undiscovered. The analysts who follow the stock are all small shops...if they start becoming bigger shops, watch out! This will happen. But VOLC stock will be in the mid $20's before this happens.

Also, Abbott might just buy them out, as it could be super accretive to earnings.
