Seriously, with all the doom and gloom - SKX is now a screaming value. I will buy (and did again today) - because I can afford to wait a few years if needed. I am certain I will see mid 20s within 3-5 years. That is a helluva return.
Do you think Skechers has that much of an upside? I'm currently a bull on the stock but the pre Shape-Ups business was only making about 55-70 mill a year so thats a fairly high relative p/e we'd be looking at as i'm skeptical about the future prospects of the shape-ups line. I would imagine most of the upside will come from a near term return to profitability rather than sustainable long term growth?
Yes, I think we can see a return to normalized earnings and can achieve $1.00 EPS in the next 2-3 years. I think with any new product line or styles we can earn back a growth oriented PE. This all speculation, but I like to accumulate when something is way out of favor. This is the definition of SKX right now.
