...Ok, so I know it's still early to start thinking seriously about winter weather, especially with most of the country in the grips of a heat-wave. But, with the recent uptick in the price of natural gas, and the flurry of news articles starting to discuss how high the price of NG can go, etc., it got me thinking.
It seems that some of the experts and their long-range weather models are starting to predict a COLD winter of 2012-2013. Following the WARM summer, this has to bode well for bringing down the overhanging supply of gas in storage. Of course predictions can be wrong, but as a SWN shareholder it is fun contemplating the possibility of a COLD winter and ultimately what effect that could have on the stock price.
