    There is no upside...

Polo-Ralph Lauren is available im my area (metro Washington D.C.)Tysons Corner, Virgini
    a) in 2 Bloomingdales, 3 Nordstrom's, about 8 Hecht's (May co.)
    ,4 Lord & Taylor's (May Co.) , 2 Saks Fifth Avenue,and 2 Neiman
Marcus locations. I live in suburban Fairfax county.
Not the usual "hick location" My input of opinion is from my
son at Virginia Tech, my co workers son at University of Virgina,
and from comments of young workers who have recently graduated from
college. They put me on to shopping from the J.Crew catalog.
I have chatted with retail sales people in the above mentioned
stores numerous times, and they have not given me any feedback
    to change my opinion.

    • Apparently the people he talks to prefer the J. Crew catalog over the Polo line in his area. Perhaps, Nancy who works at a store that offers Polo can give him some feedback?

Thanks to Joe for feedback, it was meaningful and well taken. Also, Joe excellent feedback to the advertiser of KESE.

I, too will pass up that million dollar opportunity.

    • I work in one of the above mentioned department stores,
      What's your point?

      • The Polo line is so heavyly placed; for instance in the Mc Lean,
Virginia area the line if offered in 6 stores in a 1/2mile area.
If we were talking about placing the line from a distribution
of 1 to 3 stores to 6 ...I would definately see an opportunity
for growth. But with such wide distribution, sales growth will
only come from sales growth in existing lacations for the most
part. So what are we talking about 2% to 12% increases...not
enough to push this stock up about the market average.

Also, you have to realize that comments on here for the most part
are from people who buy Polo of course they like
the stock. My point is that...this stock will not grow because
with such a large base there is no real potential for growth.
