A Proud New Owner of A DishNet System! 2

Good Afternoon from San Antonio, Feb 6, 1998

I ordered my new 4500 DishNet system and installed it this
week and I am very, very pleased!!!

Wow, what a nice picture and I still get local programs with a great JC Whitney omnidirectional antenna for $88.95 plus
$14.95 shipping, catalog 37cg5867u, phone orders 1-312-431-6102, or fax 1-312-431-5625. Had to buy a tv pole and chimney mount at
Radio Shack. San Antonio is known as a very, very hard place to get a workable off-air TV antennae to work! Or, pay $4.95 to get
DishNet's local channels if available in your area. I love the way the remote switches from Dish to Local Channels very seamless.

The DishNet system was very easy to install, the only problem I had was figuring out how to ground the darn thing because no one wants to say other than the NEC electrical code way to do it -- at the electrical house ground. I finally used a cold water copper pipe that is buried in the foundation.

I bought my Disnet system on the internet at a site in Washington state.
All went very well and I had it in via UPS in 4 days. I highly recommend
Ric Sutter (he will email you the UPS numbers and you can track your order), located at:

DISH CD (Model 4500) $179 which includes UPS shipping,
    + $300 for one year of America's Top 50.

I did add the chimney mount, the Pananex surge protector,
a spare remote for upstairs, and a RCA remote telephone unit.
The install kit was free but I had to ask for it since it
is a Echostar promotion at some outlets, but not at others
-- the kit did not have much in it thatI needed , except the
high quality RU6 cable and the grounding block.

I ended up going to Home Depot and buying a crimping tool, $26, and some RG6 connectors so that I could cut the cable and feed it through my wall.

All internet Dish Net dealers are located at the following site with prices updated:
