The vote was much closer than it looks. The vote was 42% for and 56% against. Of the 34.8 million shares outstanding 80%, or 28 million voted. 15.7 million shares were voted against declassification of the board and 12 million shares for. Of the 15.7 million against, over 8 million belong to Ariel. Without Ariel the resolution gets 60% of the vote in a big shareholder victory. Why Ariel votes against declassification I can't figure out, unless they need a few, big losing positions for tax reasons. Maybe their own BOBE to keep them humble. Next year we need to find that 20% that didn't vote and get them to cast their ballets the shareholder's way.
the chicken is number one in my book. he is light and astute. no room for roosters to get up before him. airwolf is number two. his comments about intimidating cameras is correct. prime must drive a corvette. his writing, tone and context, indicates he is more than short in stature. being a shill is always shrill. be nice
let's see....15.7 million against, 12 million for.....so only a difference of..(better take off my shoes for this one)....3,700,000 (+/-)........yeah, that's pretty close!.....(don't forget that MY 10 shares were in there somewhere, too!)......
maybe Ariel owns so much of the company because they see so much POTENTIAL????
or maybe they get free jet rides???
or perhaps they own so many shares of a company because they want to feel uncared for by management????????
