    get er done

Is there an action plan available that breaks out how to get all the action plans done? Or is there a reason for a labor guideline, if you are expected to be under it? Good cost controls are just that...good. What about having time for great customer service, and creating a work environment that employees enjoy?

That should be the priority when writing yet another action plan. Gotta go, and get er done.........

    • Ahhh, great customer service - wouldn't that be nice at Bob's again? I don't go to the restaurant very much any more but last night my grandkids wanted to go because they got free meals as part of the library reading program. So, we went in, sat down and during the time that we were IGNORED for 10 minutes my grandson noticed ants crawling around on the windowsill (I guess they were there because there was plenty of food on the sill to eat). The manager on duty glanced at our table twice but never came by to say anything. When we got up to walk out she was near the counter and heard me tell my grandkids that we would go somewhere that we could get waited on - she spun around and said "someone was coming to your table soon." - I told her "too late." I remember a time when the water, other drinks, silverware etc. would be on the table within minutes. The restaurant wasn't even busy so there really wasn't any excuse for it - except maybe with the new Bob Evans' job descriptions maybe the waiters were washing dishes or cooking the food. teehee. Anyway, probably my last time to frequent the joint - they have gone downhill too much for me. The old guy must be spinning around in his grave at what has happened to the Bob Evans enterprise.
