When the cheer leader is gone the company goes down hill. 1-Look at Wendy's Dave Thomas is no longer there the company went down hill. 2-Look at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) the Colonel is gone the company goes to hell. 3-Now that Bob Evans is gone the company is headed south. Think about it there is not even an Evans left in the company after all those long hard years of building the company. I sold my BOBE stock and done very good after buying it at the IPO nine years ago and very glad I made the move. I used to be very proud of holding and being a BOBE stockholder and ate there a lot. I have not been in a Bob Evans restaurant in years now and will never go back. They used to have very good people like Bob Evans, and Bob Wood two of the finest people BOBE ever had. I have said enough for this time.
Stckjy, BOBE had their IPO in 1963 I bought the original IPO at that time, way back there. I held on to the stock about 36 years and received all the splits and sold out about 9 years ago and done very good. If I remember right I think I had 83 shares for each share I original bought on the IPO. I would like to do that good on just a couple more of my holds. They have not done a lot the last 10 years. Like I said before there is not an Evans left in the company today very sad.
