I didn't look at INO when George first mentioned it because I was already fully invested. I see that INO has a technology for developing vaccines that has huge potential. Up over 400 % in a short time would have been a fun ride.
We are in a bull market for biotech stocks. They only come around every several years.I checked the message board on INO. It is impossible to learn anything because there is a new post every 20 seconds and most of them are silly.
INO has about the same amount of cash as PTN and hasn't started clinical trials yet. Still the stock has gone from 60 cents to $3 in a short period. Use your imagination. PTN can do this too and maybe more.
In all seriousness, I agree, PTN does have the potential for an phenomenal upswing, but does have a high risk factor for obvious reasons. Still, I call it a "buy," but not with funds one would not be willing to lose. I would call it a risk-reward, speculatory investment, which is why I diverge from calling it a "strong buy."
