Isn't it early for this to come out? Nice to see Acadian adding.
Haven't seen this mentioned, but Winbond, the number #3 customer for IMOS has seen its stock limit up 2 days in a row. DRAM is on fire which bodes very well for 1Q with 2 of IMOS' largest customers (MU ought to come back strong).
Hopefully update on the listing soon, and coverage from Cowen. Stock won't stay quiet, or cheap, indefinitely.
I bet we'll see more institutional holdings when there's more coverage.
I have been assuming that DRAM shipments right now are still relatively weak, but that they'll grow significantly through 2013. A lot of the price improvement has been constrained supply, but demand can't be too bad with these kinds of increases. What really excites me though, regarding Micron, is the increased sources of chips. Of course in the long term there's the possibility of business from Elpida and Rexchip when those mergers happen, but Inotera is new business that may be happening now, or very soon. Micron is starting to take all of Inotera's supply, when before they were taking something like half.
Also in the first and/or second quarters we'll be seeing WLCSP revenue from AKM, and may already be seeing more testing. The beginning part of the year will still be weaker due to seasonality, but I'm hoping that it's less weak than one would typically expect.
