In the future I think I'll weigh the situation very carefully before buying any companies on the OTC. Not something I normally would do but for the potential that was brought to my attention more than two years ago with RXI.
Difficult feeling that one can be held hostage to a degree by the very market makers who are supposed to give investors a true reading of supply and demand.
My position in RXI as been an education in more ways than one.............GL All
I know the feeling RMS. I'm OK on the free shares from the spin-off, but down a good bit on recent buys prior to the R/S. But, I feel the likely future reward is worth the risk. I remember after buying GALE at and around $1.00 I was feeling rather down when the share price dropped down to around $0.37. But, glad I didn't sell. My sentiment is "Hold" only because I've made my investment. If I didn't have shares, at this point it would be a Strong Buy. GLTA
No, not at all. I placed a hefty bet on RXI, long before the spinoff with Galena even. RXI-109 with a potential 4B market, seasoned management, strong financial backing, etc, etc.
I actually added today. Whatever gave you that idea hanna?......
My only point was that it is a bit unsettling to be at the mercy of market makers who have been given the opportunity to corner the market of a company to a degree.
I am long RXI and like the position. We have competition in the scar reduction market as you know, Excaliard, among others,
but based on my own observations RXI has shown that silencing CTFG works, and I do think that they are currently the leader in the field..............
