What does the dark blue and red lines signify? Hate to sound stupid, but don't want to assume anything...
However, if I did assume... I'd think that the dark blue line was the Dow and gold's ratio the red is the 5 year moving average. Therefore tops are stocks high and gold low and then the inverse.. The latest 40 year cycles appear to be ending at or around 2020... I have predictions for sometime in2018... as one can see it can drag along the bottom for a while...
Here is a more interesting chart that brings our new way of doing things..
right, dark blue is ratio.. red is moving average.. guess I could have picked a better chart.. but this one had an average bar on it
But, I actually do like your chart more.. Those are the trendlines I was picturing in my head.. the ratio has been increasing its extionsions from the mean(which you can see on the chart I provided)and should overshoot on the way down.. (per your chart) looks like it could be .5 ... which would be NUTS!!!
I have been thinking 2018 as well.. I forget what I was watching, they had a joke going around the trading pit (something like the US will resemble Europe in roughly 6 years)
Looks like we are about halfway through the winter cycle.
Guru-looking at the headlines that algo's are trading off of. Just checking these adjectives that the author's are using as well as the subjects they are covering.
