    Happy Anniversary "dubya"!!!!

Ten years ago today: Bush The Lesser strutted below "Mission Accomplished" banner.

At the time The Decider announced in a PR stunt 10 years ago today that major combat operations had ended in the U.S. invasion of Iraq, 141 American troops had died, along with a few thousand Iraqis.

By the time the last combat troops had left eight and a half years later, 4,488 Americans in uniform had lost their lives in the conflict, along with another 319 allied troops and nearly 1,500 contractors. Iraqi civilian fatalities caused by the war are variously measured as low as 112,000 and as high as a strongly disputed count of more than one million.

In addition to the U.S. fatalities, there were vast numbers of wounded, officially 32,021, but much higher by other accounts. Thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of troops, have traumatic brain injuries as a consequence of their service.

All because exaggerations, fabrications and concoctions the administration used to persuade Americans (and the world) that the United States had to go to war with Iraq.

And of course, over $1 TRILLION in debt.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
