Interesting read on how solar subsidies keep prices higher

It mentioned there are no incentives for people to perform the contract cheaper when they know rebates are available. Sure, the Chinese glut is keeping panel costs down but what about other costs, including profit.
I will try to post some link or give you the author so you can read.
I understood, as i was replacing my AC a couple years ago and wanted a high SEER AC to get the tax credit. Many vendors were using the tax credit to justify the higher price when presenting bids. On a larger scale this is what is happening with solar. Once the subsidies diminish, projects will most likely become cheaper and continued growth is intact.
