    • I reproduce my aswer from my post from 6 of December to a chart reader with nickname luckyone581:

I don't ask you to answer me. Just answer to you. If FSLR was a Chinese company with EPS (ttm): -7.66, what price it would have? The big mistake here is that the majority of people assumed that after the adoption of the US import tariffs the Chinese concurrence is finished. And if the Chinese concurrence is finished in the USA then it is finished everywhere. This is the biggest mistakes because the Chinese companies are the FSLRs biggest nightmare still. OK, some of them may go BK, some of them may reorganize, others may be bought by Chinese or foreign companies. Still others may cut production into half or more but they are real, they are strong, they have support and credit from the communist state. How do you thing FSLR will compete with them in Africa where 'the cheapest is the best' or in Latin America, India, Australia. What gives FSLR advantage there where there is no US import tariffs. The oxygen for FSLR was: (i) the oxygen coming from the US import tariffs on Chinese solar products; (ii) strong2Q and not so strong Q3; (iii) short squeeze; (iv) typical pre-Christmas euphoria and probably (v) the need some shorts to pay their taxes in 2012. But I don't see big investors, big blocks of shares and big banks or hedge funds buying.
It is consensual that in few years CHINA will substitute the USA as economic and later military power. If not in 5 years, then in 10, or if not in 15 than in 20. The big challenge to the Americans is how do they deal with this loss of power and social and financial wealth. In more violent way or in less violent way. An example of the former is the US import tariffs which may create economic war; an example of the latter is a creation of joint ventures. It is more clever to make a joint venture with a Chinese company then to impose tariffs and then to make press release stating that you will have a big business in China. (For instance, I will be 'all in' if FSLR announces joint-venture with JASO). Do you know how appeared the inscription MADE IN .....? It appeared in 19 century when German products were imported to England. The Englishmen obliged the importers to put this inscription in order to show that the products are German, lower quality, than the British ones which were in fact superior. You know the rest of the story, don't you.
Give me one piece of evidence that the FSLR products will beat the Chinese products outside the US.
