Harry has posted a Charts of the Day video on FSLR at TheTechTrader site noting: First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) had a monster day on Tuesday, up 12.31 to 39.35, or 45 1/2%, on 40 million shares on blowout earnings. It opened at 27.14 and got as high as 41.00. This was a key-technical breakout for FSLR. It tested the bottom of the channel and then bounced off of it. The 1-minute chart shows this stock having started off at a nice pace, it ran up a bit, consolidated into a nice little coil, it popped around 1:30, and then exploded, going from 29 to 41 in less than a half an hour. It pulled back to the 50-day, and then it bounced back up near the high, before backing off into the close. At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this stock reach the top of the channel, or even as high as to test lateral resistance in the next few days. For starters, let’s look for something around 45, followed by 50-51. But let’s see if it gets a pullback to test the prior high near 36 1/2- 37 first.
