    • If you were " Thrown Out The Door " while working at Kroger. You must have really screwed up. Stealing is the main reason they fire bad employee's. Showing up drunk, or on drugs. Or not showing up at all. Or showing up and not doing any work. There's always a bunch of those working the stores. I know what's kept Kroger strong through this doom and gloom end of world for scenario painted for Kroger years ago by several analyst.

A lot of them said we would all be shopping at Wal-Mart in a decade. Well as always, the analyst had their heads in their butt. I'm sorry you lost your job but Kroger is still in survival mode and needs productive employee's to stay a head of the competition. Just think of it as a learning experience and be a better faster worker at your next job.

      Sentiment: Buy

      • man, you hit it right on the head. don't forget the one with bad attitudes that corrupt the good employees

      • thanks for the reply, made my money years and years ago with Food Lion out of Salisbury NC......I'm from the old school, was offered to buy stock from a good friend in Salisbury NC and took a chance. There's only one of two ways for KR to make their cost reductions. 1) Close down some stores. 2) With the closing of stores people must go unless I'm missing something. In my time I've seen a lot of downsizing with other companies and a lot of families hurt for no reason. That is why these people call it cost reductions, saving money, again, companies do not care about their people like they did years ago.....
