I'm new to SFL, and I was wondering if any of you who have been following it for longer can tell me how many of the current charters are up for renewal this year, and the same thing for Frontline. A lot of shipping companies list their fleet including who the boat is chartered/contracted to and when the contract ends on their websites, but SFL and FRO do not. Does anyone have this info?
Most of the other shipping companies have it available on their websites. Part of the reason I ask is that when companies hide information that other companies in the industry make easily available on their websites, it worries me.
I tried to figure out how profitable the ‘routes’ the SFL ships are on. The resources to understand it are too expensive to justify me investing in them. As we all see contract terms are not all that important when it comes to FRO ships. Whether or not the routes and therefore ships are, is. If some one can do it I am all eyes.
read the latest sfl conference call. they give some of the charters, what they are charging and how mant customers they have. they mention a few customers and longevity of the charters. but not the complete list. good investing to all.
