Yingli may just be the next solar brand to hit it out of the park. From a marketing and brand building standpoint, they are putting pedal to metal and trying to distinguish themselves. Yingli could potentially eclipse First Solar to become the household name for solar with its aggressive marketing and consumer focus. From Sierra Club Green Home's perspective, any company making residential solar panels more affordable for Americans has our vote.
Anything is possible... It could but then maybe it couldn't. We just have to wait and see. However, YGE highly unlikely able to demand same level of valuation as First Solar—different risk spectrum. Yet, if it can grow topline as well as bottom line with stable long –term contacts and strong R&D with respectable reliability and clarity in their book keeping and visibility going forward , the market would definitely reward their efforts, etc. However, it is always easier said than done.
