Today action : Is it due to short covering?

The short answer is yes, if you are a long term investor (time horizon of at least 5 years). Mining is a multi-year venture that requires patience. It's success or failure can go either way, depending on how well management controls its costs of production and in R&D. If their decisions are good, URRE will prosper and justify your investment. If their judgements are poor, they could be out of business in 5 years.

2008 has been a poor year for URRE, and its stock price reflects that. However, the energy crisis won't go away this time, maily because of the technology development in China and India in recent years. Their consumption rate is still rapidly increasing, and nuclear reactors will play a part in any energy solution. But that solution could still be years away.
