URI is down today, and most U stocks are up 4%+ except CCJ.. any thoughts why? I think it will still close up because URI likes to play tricks on novice investors so they sell with the morning sell off scared then the investors by in to rebound it on a 10% surge by close (like Friday)...
The buying by big institutional investors is over. Volume is back to average per day. It was institutional buying on 2x to 3x normal volume that drove the price up. Now that institutional buying is over (for now), price movement should be flat to down (some profit taking).
Nope, no big institutional investors yet. When we will hear more about nuclear activities and efforts from companies like GE, the action will start.
We are still early birds, but lucky birds. I have numerous 16% royalties in large oil wells and know what happens when prices go significantly above production costs and the depletion tax rules are great too until now.
1.2 mil. is not a low volume, Alw. Historical average volume is 400k. There is still buying interest but also profit taking. Institutions won't buy this stock until it reach $5 a shares. These action so far were of hedge funds and they are crazy.
