kansas city business journal reports that DISH may be after both clearwire and sprint.
Could DISH pull this off? It is interesting that Ergen went to Softbank i think, not too long ago, and Softbank is bidding to get Sprint. If DISH could get both Clearwire and all that spectrum, and Sprint with its cell towers, then the system is ready. The Hopper isn't just another DVR. It has the capability of taking in a signal from phone and disseminating it throughout the house and onto other devices that can travel. Fitch says its a bit worried
about all the DISH debt, but it could all be geared to a Sprint M&A. Our debtor shell is poised to be refinanced and recapitalized. Why? Ergen has already said that fixed video is a one trick pony, and that the way he wants to go is to create a company separately and then fold it back into DISH. That is going to be Blockbuster. He didn't build that new HQ in Colorado for nothing.
i love logic! and reasoned arguments. but the mistake you are making, is that you don't remember my previous posts. i don't post in a vacuum, but knowing fellow longs already know about what i think about the POR legalities, and the sat download scenarios, and the stores, etc. So, you read a post of mine and don't get it. Because you are looking at a single post, not the big picture. But back to logic, assumptions, and all that. I suggest you look at inductive logic. might help you to grasp my posts.
