    Lime was a great acquisition.

Mexican food is cheap to make and it's trendy now.

Lime's food is better than Chipotle.

With less than two dozen Lime Fresh Mexican locations currently, this has growth written all over it if they can afford to roll it out quickly.

    • I dont think we can know that at all. They paid a pretty steep price for a somewhat unproven concept and they dont know that it can be rolled out on a big scale.

Nor do I think a triple concept store is going to happen.

Although you can say that pretty much ANY eatery that doesnt have breakfast would be well served to TRY to at least get a modest amount of breakfast sales simply because the rent & fixed costs remain the same and the incremental labor should be controllable.

Not sure what the plan here is. Might just be to find a new president who will optimize the cash flow, pay down debt over time and then start paying a hefty dividend or even sell it to private equity or someone else.

But, Im not overwhlemingly positive about RT and their attempting to be a $30 meal for $12.

    • That w

    • So think about RT's standard stores, the new Lime stores and then the fastest growing breakfast stores (BAGL).

This diversification would challenge Panera and Chipotle....lower prices, more variety and customers could choose 3 different menus while RT made money off all of them.
