I dont think we can know that at all. They paid a pretty steep price for a somewhat unproven concept and they dont know that it can be rolled out on a big scale.
Nor do I think a triple concept store is going to happen.
Although you can say that pretty much ANY eatery that doesnt have breakfast would be well served to TRY to at least get a modest amount of breakfast sales simply because the rent & fixed costs remain the same and the incremental labor should be controllable.
Not sure what the plan here is. Might just be to find a new president who will optimize the cash flow, pay down debt over time and then start paying a hefty dividend or even sell it to private equity or someone else.
But, Im not overwhlemingly positive about RT and their attempting to be a $30 meal for $12.
