The company just has too much cash and reasonable
good prospects to be ignored. Unfortunately, while
concentrating on a couple of other little stocks, I keep
forgetting to add more NBIX. Price is tempting. Very
surprised to see you on this board. what is going
on with viragen
no message board since became bb
stock . do you still follow vion
and ntii? look for
pnu to gain they launch antidepressant in dec that
blows prozac away in head to head clinicals. i,ve made
money on vrgn but i'm holding on to core holdings
because of omniferon and leukovax potential. good day
check out krt for dividend looks good to me.
I just want to state that I feel encouraged by
development in the delivery process by nbix and medt.
However, I also am invested in ttnp which has a good mix
and track on drug delivery sysytem. Personally I own
both and continue to be surprised by both companies
management. I am thinking about re-investing in both. do you
own research, but just suggestion.
I don't know NEO very well at all, except from a
couple of news items I saw recently. The Yahoo "profile"
says that they are cash-poor, but that must be old
information if they have recent partnerships. I just
downloaded their '99 10-K and plan to look at it
Thanks for sharing your position (BTW, I too am long
NBIX but for a much shorter time, no position NEO). As
long as NBIX does not go the way of its cousin SIBI I
think we'll be in good shape... :)
I purchased NBIX in 1995 during their initial
public offering for $10.50 per share and have been
adding to my position since then.
I am not long NEO,
but wish I was. I began loosely following Neo about a
year ago wneh it was selling in the $2.50 per share
range. I had read a story about their IL-13 cancer
product and was interested in the correlation between our
NBIX IL-4 and their IL-13. At the time NEO was very
low in cash. They have received a lot of money
through partnerships lately and have traded above $20 per
share (currently around $14).
Lets hope NBIX will
have the same good fortune.
