Isle of Capri to open its Lady Luck Casino on July 1 at the Enmacolin Woodlands resort
Its being described as a 60 million dollar Category 3 casino resort. Now there's a sure recipe for failure.
To be competitive, you have to build at least a 400 million dollar casino complex these days. You can't do thinks on the cheap and expect to draw patrons. I realize they don't have the money to put up competitive casinos and have a ton of debt, so maybe they can't even borrow money anymore, but if that's the case, you have to just quit trying to expand, get your fiscal house in order, which may take years and will never happen without a quality management team and in the meantime, quit building stuff that won't compete.
