    SCOX price will advance later this week

    As information about the stolen intellectual property comes out this week, day traders will most likely play this stock up to around 8 bucks, imho. Perhaps in the long term this stock maybe hit new lows, but I doubt it. With Microsoft's backing, SCOX feels secure to take on the likes of IBM. It doesn't take a million lines of code to be considered stolen intellectual property, it only takes a few hundred/thousand - exactly what SCOX will come up with in the near future.

    Is there any reason to be so aggressively bashing this stock.. at least in the very near future? I highly doubt it.

    Again these are only my opinions, responses are welcome.

    • Day-trading longs have much better stocks to go for, such as stocks that go UP instead of DOWN.

      That said, I agree that SCOX may see $7 or even $8 again before it sees $2. These 10% daily swings are amazing, but they are real.

      I'll just cover half or cover 100% if I see some momentum wave coming in. Then I'll short it right back out again at $7 or $8.

    • <It doesn't take a million lines of code to be considered stolen intellectual property, it only takes a few hundred/thousand>

      Too bad they can't win a billion dollars from IBM by proving stolen intellectual property. To win, they have to prove: 1) it was their property (see Novell's statements) and 2) IBM stole it.

      <day traders will most likely play this stock up to around 8 bucks>

      I'm not going to predict the actions of day traders, but the legal system moves pretty slowly. I don't think much is going to happen next week.

      yeah, too bad there's plenty of prior art for things like

      #include <stdio.h>
      main() {
      count++
      }

      the information will be coming from the NDA kangaroo court which is already being discredited. i dont think anyone is willing to risk their reputation on this either way.

      >>With Microsoft's backing ..

      thats an oxymoron.

      i'm not sure i would call it bashing. its performance bullet points are wonderful:

      a) alienated any present and future customers
      b) see a) ...
