SCO to Miss Deutsche Bank Estimates

SCO will most certainly miss the Deutsche Bank Q1 revenue estimate of $14.40M. DB initially had this higher at $14.9M. They evidently revised this lower recently.

No matter what, its going to be one heck of a drop-off from Q4 revenue of $24.3MM. Safe to say that SCO will not see that kind of revenue ever again.

        alpinevent1,

SCO will most certainly not post a *Pro Forma* profit. Even if by some miracle they hit Deutsche Bank's $14.4MM revenue projection, SCO cannot post a profit after legal expenses are factored. The derivative accounting income is a one-time event related to the PIPE deal that should show up in GAAP results unless SCO wants more trouble with the SEC.

Keep in mind that the enormous revenue fall-off is a signal that SCO will have trouble manufacturing revenue in the future. With the dismissal of the Novell case and a summary judgment against SCO in the IBM case, the courts are about to put a stop to SCO's extortion business.

PS - See that wasn't so hard. It is fairly easy to reply without name calling if you try.
