There are 513.45 million shares outstanding.
465.85 million shares,90.73 %, are owned by institutions, including Invus.
Free float, not owned by institutions, is 47.6 million shares.
11.75 million shares have been sold short, 25% of the freee float.
27% , 13 million shares, of the free float traded last week.
Feels like a tight spring ready to explode. What do you make of these numbers?
Agree and suspect some unusual trading patterns here lately. Friday, there was over a 3.5 million share trade. Was this a sale of accumulated shares from the Market Makers on the behalf of an institutional client..............who was covering a short or wating to go long without disrupting the markets?
Anyway, I had suspected the MM's were accumulating and this very large trade confirmed that. I just don't know if it was a long (very bullish) or a short covering (moderately bullish).
There is supposed to be some updates coming in October and supposedly partnership news before the end of the year. I suspect both will be bullish although I have to ideal how the shares will react.
