I bought some more just minutes ago. 800 shares, but it took over 10 transactions to complete the order. Some MMs are really playing with this right now. A stock thats been trading 15 million plus shares should not act like this when its time for an individual to fill an order.
The MMs are taking another scoop again but not as big as last week. They try to accumulate shares when those who set stop. When this thing dry out, and those shorts covering, this stock will look like a sling shot into the air.
I've been in this since 2009. There's always someone who bought at 17 or so and thinks the world is coming to an end when it swings to the 13s. First the Fed does QE and that's supposed to be bad for NLY. Next the Fed hints that it's going to end QE and that's bad for NLY. Meanwhile over the past four years I've been enjoying a 12-14% yield. $1.80 a year makes up for many a timing mistake fairly quickly, especially if you re-invest those dividends.
